Why
do some gay men refuse to wear condoms? I mean, I can’t sit here and say that
slip-ups don’t happen because I’ve had them myself. Lately, however, I’ve met a
lot of people who are absolutely against the use of condoms; my reaction: are
you crazy?!
I’ve
heard the excuses: “they don’t feel natural,” “they are inconvenient,” and
“it takes away from the fantasy.” Blah, blah, blah.
The
reality is safe sex can and should be included in your fantasy. I’ve heard so
many horror stories about unwanted gifts and unscheduled
clinic visits. I can barely enjoy watching porn if I don’t see a condom.
It’s
2013, and we all know about HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases. There
is too much information out there for you not to be aware of the risks of
having unprotected sex, especially if you plan on having a healthy and active
sex life.
Safe
sex can be sexy. In my opinion, there’s nothing more attractive than the
respect you feel when a dude takes the time to protect himself and protect you
before you get it in. Also, have you seen the selection of condoms that are out
now? There are so many shapes, colors, designs, flavors, textures and other
enhancements; how can we choose not to protect ourselves and others?
Biggest turn off for me is when a guy would try or even ask. Especially someone I just met. C and I tested twice together before we decided to do without. We're supposed to after the first and then I kept thinking... No, give it another six months to try on this whole monogamy thing, make sure it sticks.
ReplyDeleteNoel and I went for about 3/4 months before going @ it without condoms, we couldn't wait to for 6 months :-)
Delete1. I don't like anal sex! so for me condom doesn't exist. Can you imagine to make a blowjob to a dick with condom? And never I would like to be sucked with a condom!
ReplyDeleteHope yopu'll like my last post:
http://anthroposis.blogspot.it/2013/06/machos-greyphotoart.html
so you don't even want to 'top' someone anally?
DeleteI can't feel attracted by fucking asses! I'm so strange I know! If I'm sexually invonved and I'm asked for, so I fuck, but usually I prefer and make oral sex from kisses to lick all over his skin and sucking his balls & dick. And I love ending my sex with a mutual swallowing cum!
DeleteI understand where you are coming
DeleteAmen! Amen! For me there is nothing less sexy than a guy who does not wear a condom. I always steer clear of these types. And I am sorry, that whole thing about..it doesn't feel natural.. you stick a condom covered dick in my ass or I stick my condom covered dick in yours... it still feels SUPER great!
ReplyDeleteyep it is all about living to fuck another day :-)
DeleteIn Australia the biggest increase in HIV/AIDS is among young men who refuse to wear condoms. The other attitude is "It doesn't matter any more as there are medications to control it"! I rarely have sex with anyone these days but if I did have anal sex I would make sure that condoms were worn.
ReplyDeletesuch a sad way to carry yourself, I hope they rethink that behavior.
DeleteCom'on everyone lets not be selfish lets not think of ourselves and short term pleasures instead think of the wellbeing of others b4 engaging in unprotective sex!!! We no the risks so why play with fire?? Always put the other person 1st!!!!
ReplyDeletewe all know why we play with fire, just trying to figure out how to get us to stop
DeleteShould you wear condoms if you are not in some sort of long-term relationship then HELL YES! But for me, I am lucky not to have that problem, my boyfriend and I are each other's first and only for 2 yrs, so clearly there's not issue for us "raw dawging" lol
ReplyDeleteif it is long-term I say raw dawg it all the way!
DeleteThe question is wrong. Condoms are disliked by ALL MEN ( STRAIGHT/GAY/BI) and I'm fairly sure women like sex without them more than with.
ReplyDeleteGay men may need their protection more but the std/HIV/Pregnancy rates for straight people show they need them too - but you don't hear the same outcry about all the BB sex they are having.
Also, about 40% of the HIV+ men I know were infected during their monogamous relationships. Please be careful. Men cheat - all men and when two men are together the percentage goes up.
Thanks for your comment and I know this question isn't only for gay men, but that's where my focus is.
