It
Depends On Your Definition.
What constitutes cheating? If you don’t know what
it is, you may be doing it already. Is it only cheating if you have sex? Does
oral count? What about flirting?
Some partners are OK with the occasional flirtatious conversation. Others would
be furious to find that you chat with your hot co-worker after work.
Before you
consider cheating, you should make sure that you and your partner agree on what
it is. So what does cheating mean to you?
Cheating to me cheating is doing something I would not do in front of my partner. I flirt, always been a huge flirt, doesn't bother C. I think cheating is when you are breaking trust. But I think there needs to be an agreement in place before cheating ever comes into it. Discuss boundaries, and what boundaries are unacceptable. It may be a deal breaker, but better to find out now rather than later
ReplyDeleteyeah boundaries need to be discussed because many of us just assume that certain behavior is okay or not.
DeleteAs I've written previously, my partner and I had an "open relationship". We agreed that each of us could have sex with other guys. We had never set limits. We had a very loving relationship, right up till his death - 23 years together. I know of only one occasion when he had sex with another guy, and that was when I was overseas. He knew that I had sex with others, but that never caused any problem. I always had safe sex.
ReplyDeleteglad that you were able to have that kinda of connection
DeleteAll people don't have the same definition of it. So yea boundaries should be discuss and also, regardless of trust, discussing what deep shit they will be in if they cheat, lol.
ReplyDeleteyeah, but TOO many of us pretend one way or the other.
