It's about to be the season of Montero.
Lil Nas X is launching his
first-ever tour. After releasing his debut album Montero, the musician is ready
to take it on the road with the "Long Live Montero" tour.
"I'm
having my very first tour," the performer wrote in a tweet, making the
official announcement. "And all of you better come or I will cry on
Instagram Live."
The tweet
included a teaser trailer that was a montage of music videos as well as
performances from the past few years.
"Hello, I
am Montero and I welcome you to my event, the Long Live Montero
Tour," the
23-year-old says in a voiceover. "My world, my universe.
Everyone's allowed except gay people. I am Lil Nas X and I present to you my
first tour: Long Live Montero."
In a follow-up tweet, the performer specified that a CashApp presale will begin on April 27 — CashApp customers with the Cash Card can access this presale.
The tour will
span North America and Europe. North American dates will go on sale beginning Friday, April 29 at 10am local time. The artist will begin his performances in
Detroit on September 6 and hit Chicago, Toronto, Boston, New York City, Philadelphia,
Washington D.C., Atlanta, Nashville, Orlando, Miami, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and
San Francisco. He will end the North American leg on October 23.
He will then
move on to Europe beginning November 8 and hit Amsterdam, Berlin, Hambug,
London, Paris, Brussels, and Barcelona.
