Only thing I can think of worse than watching Miguel have pretend sex on stage is being forced to actually watch him do the nasty. Raunchy, seduction, sex appeal–all awesome components of a great concert if executed properly. This NSFW video, however, is having the opposite effect of whatever it was he was going for.
The positive: At least his miming includes safe sex practices. The negative: Everything. Apparently while in Stockholm Miguel thought it’d be a great idea to turn the crowd on by stimulating sex while standing sideways shirtless. We could’ve lived our whole lives without ever seeing Miguel thrusting, making the ‘this feels so good’ facial expressions and rotating his hips around in motion. Disgusting.
I am no prude, but this was just awkward. Miguel has enough talent that he doesn’t have to become an X-rated mime on stage. But for those whose fancy was tickled by this, no judgment.
