SEX MACHINES

SEX is a minefield of explosive questions for us that lives in a society where most moral values have ceased to have meaning. The amount of TIME, MONEY and ENERGY spent chasing SEX, be it for the PHYSICALITY, the EGO gratification and the PURSUIT thereof has made us into SEX MACHINES. Now there is vast difference between men AND women when it comes to SEX. Men are more in pursuit, whereas women are controlled by it that much. However being a GAY man, I have a bird’s eye view of how MEN are all caught up in the act of SEX. The practice of human sexuality by GAY is extremely varied AND complex. Yes, GAY men engage in SEX in many different ways and for many different reasons. However, this way of having SEX is in my opinion is inherently BAD. I say this because OUR particular sexual practice ultimately ends up having more of a negative effect on the well-being of those involved. One would think that since we took it upon ourselves to shoulder the burden of H. I. V~A. I. D. S. that we GAY men would NOT engage in SEX in the way in which we do. It's as if WE do NOT have any control on HOW and WHOM we have SEX with and WE NO longer possess the FREEDOM to express OUR sexuality in ways that HONORS us as GAY men. WE are TRADING our values on the bases that SEX is the connecting factor between us, which is SO far from the truth. WE are essentially slaves AND breeders to an ENERGY that WE have created and the SAD fact is that nobody cares about the extent to which this HURTS the community as a whole. LIKE HETEROSEXUALITY, HOMOSEXUALITY HAS BEEN PRACTICED, VIEWED & SORT OF INSTITUTIONALIZED IN DIFFERENT WAYS. HOWEVER, FOR US I WISH THAT 99% OF THE SEXUAL ACTIVITY THAT IS TAKING PLACE IN THE COMMUNITY WERE RITUALIZED. IF ONLY WE WERE THINKING THAT, WE ARE SPIRITUALLY SPREADING ESSENCE OF MALENESS AMONG OURSELVES. I GET THAT ANY PARTICULAR SEXUAL PRACTICE REALLY NEEDS TO BE UNDERSTOOD IN THE CONTEX OF WHICH IT HAPPENS. HOWEVER, WE LIVE IN A TIME WHEN THERE IS NO REAL NEED FOR GROWN MEN TO ENGAGE IN SEX AS IF IT WILL NOT BE HERE TOMORROW. WE GAY MAN HAVE TO LOOK @ OUR SEXUALITY & TRY TO FIGURE OUT WHAT IT SAYS ABOUT US & TURN OURSELVES AWAY FROM THE MECHANICAL WAY IN WHICH WE HAVE SEX.
