If there's one
thing we know it's this: the "Industry Baby" rapper sure knows how to
put on a show!
Performing his most recent hit single "Industry Baby," the
22-year-old Grammy winner is set to bless MTV with his presence at this year's
VMAs, which are taking place on Sunday, September 12, at 8pm from
Brooklyn's very own Barclays Center. The last time X was at the VMAs was
pre-pandemic during the 2019 ceremony, where he performed his bop
"Panini."
Nominated for
5 awards for the night, X is just one of the recently-announced musical acts
that will be hitting the stage! Camila Cabello, Lorde, Machine
Gun Kelly, and Olivia Rodrigo are all also scheduled to help the VMAs
celebrate the best of music videos from the past year.
It's been a
wild year for X so far, but if there's one thing we know about the Out cover star, it's that he sure can
put on a show!
Back in June,
he caused quite the stir online when he kissed his male backup dancer (and rumored boyfriend) Yai Ariza at the 2021 BET Awards
during a peformance of "MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)."
Then back in May, he proudly gave the gays everything they could ever want when he was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live! (Not even ripping his leather pants on live TV could stop his powerful AF performance!)
We can't wait to see what X has up his sleeve when he performs "Industry Baby" for the world to see next month!
