Today we honor the life and
legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. His peaceful opposition to injustice and
evil against humanity paved the way for progress and reconciliation that we
continue to work toward today. We still have so far to go to see Dr. King's
dream come to full fruition, but we stand grateful today for what he
accomplished and for all he made possible. Let us carry the torch he brought
aflame and act in peaceful protest of injustice and evil everywhere. Let us take
a moment today in mediation and in gratefulness for the vision Martin Luther
King Jr. stood for, lived for and died for. We believe a more UNIFIED
future is on the horizon.
