I AM...

I am whatever YOU think I am until YOU get to KNOW me. This is true for everyone else too, of course.. so don't make assumptions about anyone or pass judgment; ask questions. You might just make a new friend.

REVIEW OF THOR

The epic adventure Thor spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the cosmic realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is the Mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite  an ancient war. As a result Thor is banished to Earth where he is forced to live among humans. When the most dangerous villain of his world sends its darkest forces to invade Earth, Thor learns what it takes to be a real hero. What's Good About the Movie:

Chris Hemsworth delivered  a solid performance as THOR. He made the character likable despite the blatant arrogance displayed.

There were also some strong performances from Nathalie Portman and other members of the cast.

There were some good special effects and visual effects as well as some good fight scenes.

What's Bad about the Movie:

Not enough fight scenes.Though the fight scenes we saw were good, there weren't enough and they didn't go far enough.

I thought the 3D effects didn't go far enough and didn't really do much to enhance the overall viewing experience and could have been much better.

Overall Grade: B,Good casting and fairly entertaining.

THIS IS HOW WE DO IT

[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hiUuL5uTKc]

"This Is How We Do It" is a 1995 song by American R&B singer Montell Jordan. This song, Jordan's first single, is representative of the new jack swing style popular at the time, featuring Jordan singing over an enhanced sample of Slick Rick's "Children's Story." "This is How We Do It" was number-one on the Billboard Hot 100 for seven weeks from April 15 to May 27, 1995, and was number one for seven weeks on the R&B singles chart[1]. Notably, this is the first number-one pop hit single in the U.S. to be released by Def Jam, ten years after the record label's launch.

The song has appeared on many dance compilations, including Jock Jams volume 2. When played on Top 40 radio, the song's rap bridge is often edited out. The song ranked #95 on VH1's 100 Greatest Songs of the 90s.

¡THE 2000th MILESTONE!

For 2,000 entries I sought to open the mind and heart for myself and others. I know that some things can seem repetitive but my message of you can be ANYTHING you want to be still stands. As I blog here daily, with LOVE as my mentor, I knew I could keep this going. So as we celebrate this milestone and look forward to the other 1,000th I say:

Walk side by side with love.
Sit down by the fire, feel and see love.
Make love your partner throughout life’s many challenges until you and love depart at death.
Always lie side by side with love.
Accept whomever you are.
Accept the world as it is given to you.
Accept a ‘rebirth’ by being here in the moment.
Let go of what’s not working as you know it can, and be the ‘new man or woman’.
Blow out all the cob webs that obstruct your journey to the new and real you.
Be friendly with your heart, and get to know what opening it can do to your life.
‘Supersize’ your love and compassion!
