I AM...

I am whatever YOU think I am until YOU get to KNOW me. This is true for everyone else too, of course.. so don't make assumptions about anyone or pass judgment; ask questions. You might just make a new friend.

KELLOGG'S TOLD THEY 'WILL PAY' FOR PRO-GAY TONY THE TIGER AD

Kellogg's is being criticized by anti-gay groups for using family friendly mascot Tony the Tiger in a pro-gay advert.

The company sponsored Atlanta Pride, and put out an ad speaking out for respect of the LGBTI community and its employees.
'At Kellogg, we're an evolving culture that respects and accepts employees' sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression so that all employees can be authentic and fully engaged,' the advert read.

But anti-gay hate group American Family Association did not think that was particularly - well - grrrreat.

'Shame on Kellogg's,' one of the group's supporters said. 'They will pay for this. Sad, sad.'

'Why? Why use a cartoon tiger?' another added.

'Camel got heat for "marketing cigarettes to children" because of their cartoon camel. Is it just me, or is Tony now marketing a sexual lifestyle to children?'

And one other said: 'what they've done to tony is thoroughly disgusting. they won't stop until every comic character in the world is a homosexual. criminal is what it is. so sad.'

Companies have steadily realised that being pro-LGBTI is good for business. Today 85% of Fortune's 500 companies have policies that protect employees from anti-gay discrimination - up from 51% in 2000.
