🏳️‍🌈 HAPPY NATIONAL COMING OUT DAY 🌈

 

 Each year on this day, the LGBT community celebrates NCoD to “be proud of who you are and your support for LGBTQ+ equality.” It’s as its name implies: we, whoever we are, whether we are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer, we celebrate coming out as LGBTQ+ today.

Does coming out as LGBTQ+ still matters? 

According to HRC, it does. They explained: 

Coming out as LGBTQ+ STILL MATTERS. When people know someone who is LGBTQ+, they are far more likely to support equality under the law. Beyond that, our stories can be powerful to each other.
