But after so
many heartbreaks, disappointments and even being cheated on, you start losing
hope of ever finding ‘The One’. You’re torn between keeping looking for
him or just giving up now.
Have you ever
thought that someone out there, in this big wide world, has been looking for
you too? Because to him, you’re his ‘The One’. He’s trying to find
his way to get to you. He’s very frustrated as you are and probably almost
gave up so many times. But he knows that you’re out there. He knows
that you’re the one that would make the search worthwhile. So, he’s
still trying. He still goes on dates and puts himself out there with
the hope of finding you.
So, I don’t
want you to give up. Life would be so boring and mundane if you don’t have
hope. Keep going. So what if you are going to have another
disappointment, another heartbreak, or another ugly cry.
Just because
it doesn’t last doesn’t mean it wasn’t worth your while.
Just live your
life… keep doing what makes you happy, try new
hobbies that you haven’t done before, go on a solo vacation to recharge,
anything to enrich your life. Go on a date if you want to. If that
doesn’t work out, think of it as you’re one date closer to meet him. All
you can do is to make sure you and your life are ready for whatever opportunity
comes your way. You’re clear about what you’re looking for in the person
who is worthy of you. Whatever you do, you can’t just sit around
binge-watching Game of Thrones and expecting him to just knock
on your door. There is a very slim chance that he’s stopping by to join
you. So, go out there and live your life. When you finally let go
of the expectation and frustration, trust me, you’ll feel lighter. You’ll
feel relieved and be able to focus more on what is important to you at the
moment. It’s a very beautiful feeling.
I can’t
guarantee that you two will find each other tomorrow, next month, or even next
year.
But I do
believe that life has a perfect plan for you. It always does.
Stop being
frustrated and trying to fix everything on a certain timeline. Life
doesn’t always go as planned. Accept that certain things just happen the
way they do and you have totally no control over it. Let it go. He’ll
finally find you when the time is right… when you both are ready for each
other. Because everything always happens at the right time, with the right
person, and for the best reason. Love is not something we can force to
happen. It might be discouraging to wait for love, but it’s definitely
more exhausting to look for it.
If the time is
right, even when you’re doing nothing, it’ll find you.
He will find
you. He’ll show you how being ‘The One’ feels like, the same way you’ll
show him. That’s when you both realize your relationship can’t be more
perfect.
