Having
unrealistic expectations as the reason why gay relationships fail?
Having
unrealistic expectations?
Clingy
codependency?
Passive
aggressive game playing?
Ongoing use of
drugs and alcohol?
Thinking
something better will come along?
Being too quick
to open up the relationship?
The most common recipe for failure in same gender loving relationships that I've observed is deceit. Whether it is lying or actually cheating on your husband/partner/boyfriend, it is one almost certain ingredient for failure. Good question, my bare brother! You and Noel have a wonderful weekend! Love and naked hugs!
ReplyDeleteAnother reason is a profound reluctance to do the hard work it often takes to build, and maintain a relationship. The first little schism and somebody's talking about "I don't have to put up with this" and they're gone, already moving on to the next brotha to repeat the same failures. Fear of commitment - this coupled with that "something" better that is supposed to be over the rainbow - but never is.
