I AM...

I am whatever YOU think I am until YOU get to KNOW me. This is true for everyone else too, of course.. so don't make assumptions about anyone or pass judgment; ask questions. You might just make a new friend.

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE REVIEW

About The Movie:

Taking place shortly after the end of the first film, Katniss has become the leader of a revolution; one she doesn’t know exists. But President Snow is well aware of what Katniss brings to the people of Panem… Hope.  And he is determined to do whatever he can to stop her. The new Head Gamemaker, Plutarch Heavensbee, comes up with an unstoppable plan - for the latest version of the Hunger Games, have all previous winners be the ones eligible to play. From District 12, that leaves only Katniss, Peeta and Haymitch.  When Karniss and Peeta enter the arena, they’ll be up against 22 other killers with virtually no chance of winning.

What Is Good/Bad About The Movie:

The first half of the film is definitely geared towards fans as it’s a long set-up as we follow the characters for a good hour, building up towards the Games. The second half of the film is for everyone as the movie really takes off once we hit the Hunger Games. Everything is taken to another level this time with more action and violence than before. Jennifer Lawrence is absolutely captivating and controls the screen every second she’s on. The rest of the cast manages to keep up with her, with a special shout out to Jena Malone who comes from out of nowhere in this film.

Overall Grade: A-
