I get that people connect and are compatible on many different levels and the recognition that a committed or romantic relationship isn’t viable doesn’t mean that partners can’t still enjoy the sexual chemistry that does exist.
So why do you think people have sex with their exes?
Is it for closure?
Do you think it can lessen the blow of a breakup by keeping at least one aspect of the
relationship going after the others have stopped?
Is it because of comfortability?
Is it because the lens of passed time can blur the pain of the breakup and highlight the good memories?
Don't do it. You already shopped that store. You know what it has to offer. Go some place new!
