This couple
who have been together 55 years are the stars of a new Valentine’s Day advert.
Necco cast
Jack and George, a very sweet couple who are spending 2016 as legally married
for the first time.
‘We spent the
day with them in their home and got to know them,’ Necco CEO Michael McGee told
AdWeek. ‘We just kind of rolled the camera and let them tell their story. When
you see how they interact with each other—their strength, their genuineness,
their commitment to each other—they are just so endearing.’
Jack and
George explain they met on 19 January 1961, saying they’ve been inseparable
ever since.
‘If he’s not
there, I can’t go to sleep,’ Jack says. ‘If he’s not around, I don’t know what
to do.’
