I AM...

I am whatever YOU think I am until YOU get to KNOW me. This is true for everyone else too, of course.. so don't make assumptions about anyone or pass judgment; ask questions. You might just make a new friend.

BEYOND YOU...

We are all beings of light; spiritual beings having a human experience and I have been asked on more than one occasion how I can deal with or put with certain persons that I associate with. My answer to this burning question is simple, I see beyond what people present to the world and themselves. I believe that NO ONE is worthless and should be left behind, we all have our individuality and it is when we come together as a group that it can either blend in or get strangle from the start. Nonetheless, I don’t believe that HUMANS are uncaring; I simply believe that most of us don’t know how to place ourselves in another’s shoes. It is a well known fact that, many of us are aware of our true selves and it hard to find persons that can ACCEPT another as HE or SHE is. We have the hard task of navigating through life amidst the large-scale changes in the world. I know that those that do not see the light of transition need only time and patience to do so. I feel that I am connected to the light and it is through my connection that I can see BEYOND what the visible world reveals. However if we continue to look for negativity in others, we are bound to come across it in abundance. As easy as it is to criticize the people and situations that frustrate or hurt us, we do ourselves a disservice in the process. It is important to see the good in all as there are blessings hiding in every aspect of our outer-world reality, and the potential for grace exists in ALL human beings. It would do us good to remember that when our lives are flooded with challenges, grief and pain brought on by an individual, we may be tempted to believe that they are simply bad. And rightly so, but if we look for the good within, it will be revealed; easing our doubts and reminding us that the universe is a place of balance. I have learned that the unnecessary tension that came into being when we dwell on negativity fades away and is replaced by sympathetic tolerance. We can forgive those that have wronged us because we recognize in them traits we admire, and we may even discover that we can bring out the good in one another. There are few pleasures greater than gazing outward and seeing beauty, wisdom, and harmony; and since we create our reality, we can make the world a better place each time we acknowledge the good in people we encounter…SO I ENCOURAGE ALL OF US TO SEE BEYOND YOU…

  1. So rare to see beyond what most people present to us, and more so to be able to accept people for who they are, regardless, as each of us are individuals, and thats what makes each of us unique, the good and the bad side of each of us......

  2. "if we continue to look for negativity in others, we are bound to come across it in abundance." I like this line! Many of <>US<> are so pessimistic. I do believe that you find what you look for in some way shape or form. I do believe there is good in everyone. I do believe in looking beyond. I don't believe the majority of people do this and those that do don't do it the majority of the time

  3. It takes a big person to see past peoples faults and see them as --them. Honestly, this is something I really need to work on.

  4. I agree – no one is a lost cost, there is redemption in some form for everyone when we close people out we encourage the ill in them to fester and grow but if we reach out to them regardless of what they are we help them to be better people
